Tony Richards Leadership Academy (18+ years)
LAUNCH YOU! Life Leadership Boot Camp offers a unique opportunity to learn, activate and talk with peers and other committed individuals who can relate and assist you in your life journey. The goal is to help you learn to advocate for yourself and set you on a path for success--on your own terms. You will get to meet new people and have an opportunity to make friends with individuals living with autism/autistic individuals* facing various life challenges, with whom you can test ideas, share concerns and exchange advice. We will ensure the time and space to develop ideas and relationships in a place where you can feel comfortable, welcomed and valued. This safe, exploratory program (to help you LAUNCH!) is for YOU: individuals who are living with autism/autistic individuals who desire to develop skills, relationships and pathways that can open up new avenues for their life journey and living their best self! This program looks to build upon each person’s capacity to engage in activities that promote community life and that honors their individual preferences, choices and abilities. Ongoing Support Opportunities
Next Step (any age, but particularly helpful when at a plateau). This 3 part support is an opportunity to celebrate and learn from successes, establish current hurdles, and design an action plan of goals that will help you attain your next level of success. Four domains of adult living are the focus: education/training, employment, social, and independent living. This first appointment is 1.5 hours and is a casual conversation gathering info in those four domains, including goals (long and short term) for each. The second part has Autism ASK develop a resource and referral report listing a minimum of 8 options, unique to each person, of supports to help reach your goals. Part three has us gather again for a 1 hour meeting where you use the resource and referral report to create your action plan. All 3 parts, including report, are covered in the $375 cost (half paid in first appointment and balance due at action plan). Contact Beth Kimmel at 248-760-4267 or email@example.com .
Autism ASK offers employment related supports (career readiness, job search, shadows, action plans). Contact Beth Kimmel at 248-760-4267 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
